Two Movies I Want To See

Two flicks I want to soon as I can scare up $200 spare dollars. Seriously. My friends and I call it "The Hundred Dollar Movie" because by the time you get tickets, food and a babysitter, that's what it costs. But some movies can't wait until DVD.

If anyone has seen these, I'd like to hear what you thought (without spoilers, please).

There Will Be Blood

This trailer isn't great, but I've read about the movie and seen it on enough "Best of 2007" lists to know I need to see it. I like PT Anderson and Daniel Day-Lewis, so I'm betting it's terrific. It's not even playing around here yet.

Here's another one that made a lot of best-of lists, and it looks like my kind of flick. I dig the cast and the fact that it was written by a former stripper named Diablo Cody.

Comedy Clip Of The Day: Wanda Sykes

Wanda Sykes makes me laugh. This is a bit from her HBO special, "Sick and Tired," where she discusses the pressure of having a vagina. Rated R, of course. Don't watch if the P word offends you. Or the F word.

Best of LOTD: Famous Last Words
